Day 8

15th Feb

2Ch 20:18  Jehoshaphat bowed with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the LORD.

  • He prayed, he praised and then he worshipped God.

  • Praise is when we get to boast and brag about God.

  • One of the great ways of developing your faith is by learning to brag and boast about the power of God, the magnificence of God, that he is the God of the impossible, that Nothing is too difficult for God

Jeremiah 32:27 NIV “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

  • A great idea in this time is to make a playlist of all your favourite praise songs that declare the power of God and sing along with them.

Now Worship is when we turn our affection to God, we come into that place of adoration and intimacy with God.

  • Praise can be corporate, but worship is intimate.

  • When we worship, we are coming before and audience of one.

  • They fell down in worship before the Lord.

John 4:23 NIV Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

John 4:24 NIV God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”

  • We can praise with our mind, our strength, and our emotions.

  • But we worship God in spirit.

  • As you are going through this 21 Days of prayer and fasting allow God’s spirit to begin to touch your spirit

  • Worship is learning to have intimacy with God,

  • Worship brings us to that place of understanding that we have a loving heavenly father that wants the absolute best for us and is willing to fight our battles for us.

  • Today as you press in, whatever you are facing begin to worship God and thank him that he is the one that is passionately wanting to fight for your cause.

  • Like every earthly parent when their children are suffering and struggling, they would do anything to try and help, stop the pain, stop the hurt, stop the suffering.

  • That is exactly what God has promised that he will do for us.

  • So, as you begin to worship see God taking that situation on and going to work on your behalf.

So, grab the prayer goals that you have written out and begin to declare what God says about your situation.

As you begin to declare breakthrough in that area God will begin to establish your prayers in the spirit realm.
