Day 20
27th Feb
Numbers 23:19 NIV God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
I reckon this was the faith that King Jehoshaphat had when he was given the devastating report that there was a huge battle that he would have to face.
-
We are now in the home stretch of our prayer and fasting.
-
I can just feel and anticipate the expectation for what God is going to do for you.
-
I think these verses bear out such an important truth.
-
God simply wants us to believe what he said is true.
-
God wants us to believe in the integrity of his words.
-
I Love this in the passion translation.
Psalms 138:1 TPT By King David. I thank you, Lord, and with all the passion of my heart I worship you in the presence of angels! Heaven’s mighty ones will hear my voice as I sing my loving praise to you.
Psalms 138:2 TPT I bow down before your divine presence and bring you my deepest worship as I experience your tender love and your living truth. For the promises of your word and the fame of your name have been magnified above all else!
-
God holds his word above his name, his character and integrity is tied up in the words he has spoken.
-
King Jehoshaphat was so confident in the character and integrity of God and his words that he did not need to send an army out to go fight the battle, but he simply sent his people out to praise and worship him.
-
He believed that God would fight for him.
-
OK, 20 days in, can I ask you do you believe that God is going to do what he has promised and that the battle is not yours, but it is Gods.
-
When we get to that place it will bring great peace and joy into our lives
Psalms 138:3 TPT At the very moment I called out to you, you answered me! You strengthened me deep within my soul and breathed fresh courage into me.
-
I trust that today more than ever you will sense God breathing fresh courage into you.
So, grab the prayer goals that you have written out and begin to declare what God says about your situation.
As you begin to declare breakthrough in that area God will begin to establish your prayers in the spirit realm.
