Day 11

18th Feb

Eph 1:3  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

So, why get overwhelmed by the enemy when you can like the children of Israel get overwhelmed by the splendour of God’s holiness.

  • What a battle plan, getting consumed with God’s greatness

  • Here was a corporate gathering but their worship was to an audience of ONE.

  • He didn’t cry out for help or plead or beg but worshipped in the splendour of his holiness.

  • They gave thanks declaring His Mercy, kindness and favour endures forever

1Ch 16:34  Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.

  • Here is a great link to a great song by Chris Tomlin about the splendour of the God.

  • Great is our God

  • King Jehoshaphat knew exactly what to do in that moment he had learned it from king David

  • The song of thanks by King David

  • It starts off in verse 8

1Ch 16:8  Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.

1Ch 16:9  Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.

1Ch 16:34  Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.

And as all the people got lost in the presence of God declaring the splendour of his holiness.

God destroyed and defeated the enemy.

Today as you begin to worship see God destroying your enemies and winning your battles.

So, grab the prayer goals that you have written out and begin to declare what God says about your situation.

As you begin to declare breakthrough in that area God will begin to establish your prayers in the spirit realm.
