Thank you so much for your feed back from Lesson 3

In lesson 4, I want to share practically on how we can create a clear and concise vision statement for the area or department that we are leading within the church.

A vision that is God given is always birthed out of a redemptive revelation to point people and lead people back to God, to go deeper into God and to grow and develop in God.

A vision simply shows people how the future can be different from the present, and it motivates them to make the effort to pursue that future.

  • A vision is always future-oriented.

  • A vision describes the future in images or mental pictures.

  • A vision is about possibilities, not just probabilities.

  • A vision explains what is unique about the organization.

Here is your homework for lesson 4

To begin your Homework is to create a short, clear, and concise vison statement for your department.

In creating this I want you to consider:

    • What is the dream or passion God that has placed in your heart?

    • What has been the prophetic word God may have spoken over your life?

    • What are the gifts and talents God has given you?

    • What is the preferred future that you want to accomplish in your department or the with the people God has given you?

    • What is the destination you are going to lead people to?

    • What will the end result look like.

    • Then with all that information I want you to construct that short and concise Vision statement.

    • Then I want you to send it to me and I will work on it with you to fine tune it

Leadership Appointments. I will look forward to catching up with you soon, please let me know when would be a suitable time.

Please complete and submit this part of  lesson.
When we receive your homework, we will send you the next leadership lesson link.
We are looking forward to seeing what God has revealed to you in His Word and through this Study.

As disciples we don't always need more information but we need new revelation from God. Is there a certain part of the teaching that you loved, that stood out for you or you felt God was giving you insight into it?
Discipleship is all about learning God says. What was something new that you learnt in this lesson?
Putting God's word into practice is the greatest thing we can do. Was there a lesson, a principle or a promise that you can put into practice in your life?
The greatest part of discipleship is taking what you have learnt and sharing it with someone else. What part of this lesson could you pass on to others?
If there are any questions or queries about this lesson or regarding the school of ministry please feel free to ask.
